Thia was just one of all of us who are determined to find their life purpose. (Shouldn't be too hard, right?) After all, it's marked on your skin. She could never seem to figure it out though and waited impatiently for more clues to appear. It wasn't until the year she turned 17 that things began to change and the clues started to appear. A mysterious stranger coming into town, her best friend leaving and a tragic death that shakes her whole world help start her journey. She will soon have to make a choice between staying comfortable in the routine of her daily life or go on the adventure of a lifetime to help a stranger in their quest. The conflict rising between the elves and the barbarians isn't the only battle being fought. Thia will have to fight the battle inside herself as she comes to terms with her new reality and exploring her feelings about her newfound soulmate. Her small-town simplicity is about to get a lot more complicated.

Angry and bitter about her parent's divorce, sixteen-year-old Faith Everett isn't pleased when her mother packs up their lives and moves them to the small town of Meadow. Faith has a bone to pick with the world and prefers to stay away from the company of others. She has her reasons, but she's not about to share them with anyone. Hope Chamberlain, often referred to as the Mother Theresa of Meadow, has spent her life devoted to service, tradition, and the unshaken belief that goodness can mend whatever's broken. She leads her church's summer camp with a heart full of conviction and the belief that no soul is beyond saving. When Faith is forced to attend the same summer camp, their lives collide, and the two couldn't be more different. Hope wants to help Faith rediscover her religion--Faith just wants Hope to disappear. But as the girls' lives intertwine, what begins as resistance turns into a quiet, fragile connection that neither one of them expects. As the summer unfolds, both girls are forced to confront painful secrets, question their beliefs, and redefine what family and friendship truly mean. A poignant coming-of-age story about love, loss, and redemption. Hope and Faith explores the beauty of heartbreak, and how two opposites learn that healing sometimes begins in the most unexpected places.
