Sometimes it can be a very tough job. Other times it can be a rewarding job. The laughter and tears. The joy and the pain. The good times and the bad times. The responsibilities of another life (or lives). The worries that can come with the role of caregiving. The worries of any health issues, of sicknesses and injuries. The worries of the present and of the future, of what could happen a year, 5 years, or 10 years from now. And of course the worry of what if something were to happen to us caregivers down the road.
Then there are also the joys of watching the happiness and smiles of the person, or persons, we are taking care of. And even on the hardest days, the knowledge and the heart of us trying to do the best we can each and every day, no matter what hardships are thrown our way. And the love and care that we give constantly which always will last. Even through the ups and downs, as caregivers we are always united.
