James "Bucky" Barnes is having a difficult time making meaningful connections after the Blip. All of the surviving Avengers are busy working through their trauma and grief or, in Sam's case, taking on the mantle of Captain America. With everyone else reuniting with their loved ones who are coming back, Bucky can't help but feel utterly alone once again.

Genevieve King is struggling to keep herself and her brothers afloat. With everyone else reappearing after the Blip, their parents are still MIA. Genevieve had to leave her job as a vet tech to come home and support her brothers but with the lack of her parents' expected return has caused her to relive her grief. Genevieve can't help but feel utterly alone once again.
