Their Alpha, His Mate: REWRITE

In the year 3056, the world has changed. Out of the 8 billion people who lived in the world a century ago, only 5 billion survive. After a global pandemic swept the world, very few were left untouched and different races of humans have risen.
There are the vampires, the demons, and the angels, those who had died to the virus but were resuscitated by unknown means, their biology forever changed after having met with death.
Then there were those that died. Permanently. Some of them stayed dead, others rose as soulless ghouls that only wanted to kill and feast on others, and then there were those so disfigured and abhorrent that they became known as Abominations.
Then there are the Merfolk, the Avian, the Werewolves, and the Werecats those who managed to survive their encounter with the virus but it's aftereffects leaving them more attuned with the animals it originated from.
But those who still lived after having been touched by the virus were given the ability to find their soulmate. Or, as they shorten it to, their mate.
But the remaining humans who were either immune to the virus or miraculously never caught it, didn't have that privilege. And I, Marcel Hill, am one of the remaining humans.
And now an Alpha Werewolf is claiming that I am his mate, but people are all the same. They always hurt you in the end. How could be Kyle Payne any different?
