Y/n L/n lives an ordinary life in the Outside World, spending his days with friends and quietly writing stories about a place that should only exist in fiction. One night, a strange gap opens in his room. Before he can escape, he is pulled through and awakens in a land covered in snow, a place called Gensokyo.

Thrown into a world of youkai, gods, and long-lived beings, Y/n quickly learns that his knowledge of this land is both a blessing and a danger. Some welcome him with curiosity, others with caution, and a few with quiet suspicion. As he tries to find his place among them, he begins to realize that Gensokyo is far more complicated, and far less forgiving, than the stories he once wrote.

Surrounded by familiar faces and lingering mysteries, Y/n must decide how long he can survive in a world that was never meant for ordinary humans... And whether the connections he forms will be enough to keep him from disappearing like those who came before.
