It's finally Christmas Eve in The Mushroom Kingdom. However, Princess Peach doesn't quite feel in the Christmas spirit this year. Sure, she's happy that her kingdom's all merry and spreading their love and gratitude around. But she can't help but know that Mario is not here with her to celebrate. 

Luigi's spending Christmas in Sarasaland with his girlfriend, Daisy, and Mario was in New Donk City helping Pauline get ready for her big holiday festival.
