It was a scary feeling at first, but later you just get used to it, but you just want freedom and the feeling of safety. Why did I have to be caged in this dump? I thought about the Phoenix again. Did the Phoenix hate me? What had I ever done to this Phoenix? I balled my fists up in anger as I stared outside the window still, watching a great brown eagle fly outside."

For quite a long time, a legendary bird called the "Phoenix" tried to possess a woman and her children to come in hopes of taking over the world. When it gets ready to try and possess its next victim, Alisha Quill, a group called the Storm-seekers and another group called the Spreaders are hard at work to stop the Phoenix in any way possible, including asking for the help of the most powerful man in the world; Almaroz. Meanwhile, nine heroes rise from the most unlikely places and even though they don't know it, their paths are set to cross and their destiny falls under the feet of the storm-seekers and the Phoenix itself.
