Darkness. It surrounded me. I took a breath and water filled my lungs. Kicking and spluttering, trying to get out until all of a sudden I had a falling sensation....

Rosalin woke up with no memories, no recollection of who she was, where she was or where she came from. Surrounded by strangers, she had to rely on her instincts, which proved to get her into more and more trouble. She would have to make decisions between life and death, humanity and survival. As each day passed she learned more and more about The Glade, about herself, and her desire to escape grew stronger and stronger.

I wake up to the sound of metal clanging off metal. It isn't a peaceful awakening I think. It was pitch black wherever I am, yet there is a sliver of light at the top of this.....tunnel maybe. While Rosalee has to learn to adapt to her new home, she gets to know a certain British second-in-command named Newt. Soon after, she begins to fall for him. But when things begin to go awry in the Glade, can Rosalee confess her feelings to Newt before it's too late? Disclaimer: I do not own The Maze Runner or its characters. They belong to James Dashner. You and Newt are seemingly made for each other, you made it through raw torture together and fought like hell to stay that way. But life rarely plays so fair. This book does not stay 100% true to The Maze Runner plot, but most things are the same. I own only a few characters and settings such as y/n (your name) and Felix. All rights to James Dashner. The writing quality does get better just stick with it :)

Thomas awakens in a box, remembering only his first name. He arrives in the Glade, a place surrounded by an unsolvable maze, a place full of teenage boys, who also have no idea how they'd gotten there. Then a girl arrives with a message, saying everything is going to change. And the fight to get out of there becomes much more important. WARNING: There will be many triggering things in this series but I will put trigger warnings at the beginning of those chapters NEARLY ALL CHARACTERS OWNED BY JAMES DASHNER, NOT BY ME. (I will specify if a character is an oc) I'm rewriting the series cause it ended sadly and horribly. This will have parts from both movie and book and my own original plotline.
