The people left only care about themselves, if they didn't care that I murdered someone, why should I? ----- After a fatal war that caused the world's governments to collapse, the world fell into chaos that it never recovered from. Now the wealthy control everything, using mercenaries that rely on them to stay afloat to carry out their dirty work. Dream was one of these mercenaries, one of the most skilled that their was. He was willing to do what he had to, never thought twice about ending someone's life in the blink of an eye, that is until he was instructed to kill someone, someone he cared deeply for without a real reason to. This caused his entire way of life to go into turmoil, so why is he willing to risk everything for some random boy he met on the street? ----- (TW!!!!: blood, violence, death, use of weaponry, slight mention of mental manipulation, though not much) if any of these things affect you, DO NOT read on, for they will be periodic themes throughout the entirety of the story.
