In the past, Mario has been called upon to save his kingdom many times before. After all, they don't call him 'Super' for nothing! 

But when a mysterious new villain enters the scene with a dark past and an even darker penchant for disaster, Mario and his friends may be facing the most difficult challenge they've ever seen. Armed with a prophetic book, The Dark Prognosticus, and a band of rogue misfits to do his bidding, this Count Bleck seeks to create a cataclysm that will destroy all creation!

Joined by friends-and foes!-new and old, Mario sets out on a quest unlike any other-not to save a princess, but to stand against the dark prophecy and prevent all worlds from imminent and total destruction.

Follow Blumiere as he follows One in his quest to bring back the sun. AN: For once, this is NOT a ship story. I want to be clear, it is NOT a BlumierexOne story in any way. It is purely a story about friendship and the bond between two children. This story takes place before SPM. It's an alternate Universe where things used to be a lot darker, so it's by no means canon to either game. The universe is heavily based on Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2, however, though some names are the same, none of those characters from that game are in this. This story is a mixture of both, taking characters from Super Paper Mario and putting them into a universe similar to Little Nightmares. Please Enjoy! (Art at the top of chapters isn't mine)
