This is a place for me to show some of the parts of my story that I've written and would like to get feedback on. This is not a full story just yet. Everything will be published in order of it happening within the story, so parts will be moved around.

Blackthorne, Sweetbrier is the story of Charlotte Barlowe, a young girl running against time as she uncovers the tainted history of her family. She discovers her dark freckle beneath her left eye is a common attribute in the deceased children in her bloodline, all of which died a gruesome death. In her fight to keep herself alive, she meets the creature designed to keep her dead. The final trail will commence on the Harvest Moon in the year she turns 18, the ending deciding whether she lives to see tomorrow's sunrise or if she becomes another child, hidden beneath the lies of the Barlowe family.

This story begins in the country of Britannia. A country where several certain races live with one another. And at the center of these races stood a girl. After one last smile, she disappeared into the fire below, her body dissipating into the molten flames as her words echoed into the soundless wind. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way.
