Jessie's life was a series of lies and suspense, but she didn't realize it yet. After her father's mysterious passing she was forced to travel half way across America to live with her mother, who called herself 'The Witch's Daughter'. She believes that her daughter Jessie was possessed by a creature when she was just a baby. She claimed to see the dead lurking at Jessie's side. Jessie's life took a turn for the worst the moment she stepped foot in the house. She started to hear whispers in her ear at the dark of night and get visions of spiders and demons encircling her body. Her worst fears and imagination became her reality. She tried to get help from others, except her mother, and discovers the spine crawling myths and legends that seem just as real as reality. Was it too much for her? Did she break like her mother expected her to?
