Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. Ten years later, she leads a solitary life as a waitress, haunted by the past and trapped in a tumultuous relationship with Tyler, whose charm masks a darker side. The captors reveal their sinister intentions: they intend to use her as leverage against her estranged father, a military figure with unresolved ties to their agenda. As Ryan navigates her captivity, she must confront her feelings of abandonment and the legacy of her father's choices. In a desperate bid for survival, Ryan is forced to send a message to her father, pleading for his help. As she plays the role of a helpless daughter, she grapples with the moral implications of her actions and the potential danger she has put her father in. The story unfolds as a gripping tale of resilience, betrayal, and the quest for identity amidst chaos, leaving readers questioning what sacrifices one must make for love and survival.
