When a teenage boy named Lenny Darwin loses a close friend in a firey accident, he falls into a seemingly-incurable depression...that is until he stumbles across an ad on tv promising a position as an apprentice to the famous cybernetics expert, Dr. Brian "Brain" Ronald. Eventually, after thinking about it, Lenny takes the position, knowing that it was a childhood dream of his. He then learns that Dr. Brian has been working on an advanced ai system, which gives him an idea that may change his life forever.
