The Legends of a warrior race known as the Saiyans tell of The Legendary Super Saiyan a being of an immense power spoken of in an ancient Saiyan folklore, a Saiyan who overcomes the wall which no warrior, no matter how gifted, can overcome...

It's said that the mythical being appears once every thousand years and brings with it untold amounts of destruction 

The last time a Saiyan appeared with this power both themselves and the planet they were on were simultaneously obliterated forcing the surviving Saiyans to relocate to a planet called planet Tuffle where they later conquered it and renamed it after their king...Planet Vegeta and it's here where the hero's tale begins...

A boy born to two Saiyans of the Elite class took his first breath of life a baby born with a power level of Ten Thousand
