Struggling with the consequences of the war, Hermione distances herself from the rest of the Golden Trio and returns to Hogwarts as Head Girl. Surrounded by constant noise, she finds her quiet in the company of the annoying blonde-haired Head Boy.
Draco Malfoy is trapped behind his occlumency walls. Having kept them up for so long during the war, he can't bring himself to take them down. The only person who manages to get behind his walls just so happens to be the bushy-haired Head Girl.
As each-other's only hope, can the two get along long enough to fix their problems?

The other death eaters. But Malfoy doesn't seem to notice, too busy staring into nothingness, with grief. Hermione cannot help but stare at the poor boy who everyone hates. Who she hates. But she doesn't feel that way when she's looking at him. All of a sudden she realizes his composure has broken, staring back at her.~ Will she invite in the enemy of her childhood?
