In the land of Aldyn, mages are feared. They are seen as living weapons, bombs just waiting to explode. Which, of course, means that every noble needs to get their hands on one.

Anya LaSair is a mage for the sleazy Lord Rian. She is feared, but never respected. She dreams of escaping her small village, but she can't leave her family behind.

That all changes when she is attacked by a mage named Lorcan who seeks to steal her magic for himself.

She is saved by a handsome stranger by the name of Elias who protects her as they flee in search of safety and allies, but along the way, she discovers that Elias harbours many secrets and may not be all he appears to be. Anya soon finds herself caught up in a war that has lasted a thousand years and discovers that her past and her true self may be at heart of finally achieving peace for the ancient Fae kingdoms and the humans.

Crown of Iron is a fantasy story inspired by Irish mythology with a POC protagonist, LGBT relationships, magic, and the struggle between one's heart and being the hero the world needs you to be.

42 de părți Complet
A magic-addicted spy trapped in the queen's service must track a princess-turned-assassin in order to earn her freedom, but things get complicated when she falls for the princess she's supposed to capture. ***** Weak. Cursed. That's how seventeen-year-old Kayden Branimir, the realm's deadliest assassin, views herself. Some believe she could save the world with her rare healing magic, but she gave up on her powers long ago after failing to save her best friend. Her life changes when she receives a letter from her supposedly dead twin brother, Alaric, begging to be rescued from rival territory Leodia. For the first time since her friend's accident, Kayden is determined to be the hero, but she must learn to embrace her magic--and herself--along the way. Strange. Unnatural. Those are the words whispered about eighteen-year-old Zara Tait, a Leodian spy addicted to soul-stealing magic. Forced into the queen's service, Zara wants to escape and return home, but she has nothing to offer the queen in exchange for her freedom. When Kayden arrives in Leodia, Zara sees the quiet girl with unique magic as the bargaining chip she needs. But the more she learns of Kayden, the more her feelings grow. Now, Zara must choose between her freedom and the dangerous assassin she hadn't meant to fall for. Moon Blessed

60 de părți Complet Pentru adulți

For three-hundred years, the five kingdoms in the land of Damir have lived at peace with one another, but tensions are rising once more. Rumors abound that an ambitious Emperor seeks to conquer the entire land and claim it for his own. Desperate to prevent this plot from coming to light, the King and Queen of Nyctoli arrange a tournament in the hopes of uniting the five kingdoms under a different goal: winning the hand of their daughter, Princess Nastasia. Being the first Moon Blessed in centuries is a gift, but also a curse. All her life, Nastasia has been treated as a precious treasure meant to be hidden and guarded, for every Moon Blessed before her led a life leading to martyrdom, and many are afraid that her fate will be the same. Now, Nastasia has gone from being a treasure to a prize. That isn't something she can quietly accept. An air of danger looms and Nastasia is determined to forge her own path before she is forced down the same one her predecessors trod. Warning: This book, while being a work of fiction, still deals with real and mature elements. There will be chapters dealing with abuse, depression, gore, PTSD, and other topics which some might find triggering. Book 1 of 3 Completed October 5, 2023 *UNSOLICITED CRITICS MAY BE MUTED* see bio
