From a young age we are told of monsters and people who want to hurt us, take us away but we tell our parents we'll be safe, we'll be smart but we know we're just saying it to please our parents never expecting it to actually happen. 

Until it did..

A person known as the grabber has been kidnapping young boys in a small town in Denver. Six boys in total so far, Bruce Yamada, Billy Showalter, Griffen Stagg, Robin Arellano, My brother Vance Hopper and now Finney Blake.. 

Gwen had told violet about her dreams, violet didn't want to think about the possibility that her twin brother was dead...

Vance was all she had, our parents barely cared and it was me and him side by side always.. 

What am she suppose to do without him..? 

After his disappearance violet was the only one looking for him, she was the one to call the police when he didn't come home..

 Their parents saw them as invisible, like they weren't even there..

 that made his disappearance became her disappearance too to them even thought she remained still there in the house..

The grabber changed their pattern and took violet on her walk home from school, violet found herself in a bed beside Finney Blake....
