Valeria and Arlo couldn't be more different. She's a mercenary from a commoner family, while he's a Prince. Their paths cross in the most unexpected way, with Valeria being commissioned by the Athelaric Royal Family to save Prince Arlo from a vicious rebel group. Like most girls in her kingdom, Valeria used to have a crush on the Prince.  But for the sake of her job, she has completely cast it aside- her sights set on the hefty reward for his rescue. 

At least at first.

Valeria's journey is filled with many surprises- from slaying deadly monsters to experiencing new cultures. Along the way, she joins forces with fellow mercenary, Jae, reconnects with her childhood friend Mosi, and meets a mysterious stranger named Yue. 

But as time goes on, Valeria realizes that her task may not be as simple as originally stated, and uncovers a plot that has much more than the Prince's life at stake. Valeria finds herself at the intersection of multiple international conflicts- specifically one between the mighty and righteous Light Elves, a mysterious group known as the Hidden, and a broken messiah. Things begin to escalate, and more and more, Valeria begins to realize she might have bitten off more than she can chew. Forget money and comfort- she has to find a way to get herself out of this mess!

Recommended age: 14+ (violence, some language, some sexuality)

"That doesn't work on me" I whispered but she just smirked, pulling me closer-to the point our noses were touching. "Of course it does baby" Valeria smirked, quickly her pupils formed into a thin line and her smirk disappeared, "Tell me baby-what are you here for" She whispered and this time the weight of telling her was on my chest, choking me. "Agreement-" I started causing her to nod and pull away her hands still on my neck, "I want us to feed off of each other through sex" I said and instantly the weight was gone.
