This is a reader insert fanfiction set around the events of Star Wars Rebels Season 1. It is the first of four stories I am working on that will carry on through the remaining seasons of Rebels. Ideas and concepts are drawn from both Legends and the current Cannon.

The Reader is based off of the character Cade Skywalker from the Star Wars: Legacy comics written by John Ostrander, and published by Dark Horse

Immediately following the events of The Last Jedi, the battle for the galaxy continues between the First Order and the last of the Resistance. As the new Supreme Leader takes the throne, the First Order is focused on finding and destroying all who oppose them. The Resistance had disappeared into hiding and desperation has forced them to explore the gray areas of war. Meanwhile, on opposite sides of the war, Rey and Kylo Ren are forced to face the realities of their bond, their complicated relationship, their loyalty to their causes, and their understanding of the Force. Could their star-crossed connection be tied to the fate of the galaxy? This is a slow burn! Enemies to friends to lovers. This story continues the arcs and themes beautifully woven through The Last Jedi, as well as the narrative from the previous two trilogies. All plot elements are intended to be canon-compliant through TLJ. This is 100% complete. It was completed in December 2019 on A03 before The Rise of Skywalker was released, so this is not a "fix-it" fic as much as an alternative to Episode IX. This is a dark story. This Star Wars story is a continuation of my Star Wars episode 7 story. Last we left of Y/N Solo and Rey Solana had just found the last Jedi and Y/N's uncle Luke Skywalker on Ahch-To. Now they are hoping that Luke Skywalker is what they need to become fully fledged Jedi Knights and is also what the Resistance needs to take down the First Order once and for all. In this story you will find out something that Y/N has been hiding for awhile now and seeing Luke again brings back the memories of what happened. Now I know for TLJ the Canto Bight parts are a very divided part of the movie for the star wars fan base. So to avoid annoying anyone I'll be sticking to to the parts on Ahch-To with Y/N, Rey, Ben/Kylo Ren and Luke. Which means the only points of view I'll be switching between is mainly Y/N and Rey, and maybe Luke. Also once the TLJ story is finished I'll be adding a bit more to this story, which will taken from another star wars story you'll probably know what it is when I get to it. And like with the other story I don't own any of the characters that I use in this story. All rights belong to Lucasfilm and Disney.
