Y/n Merrick is a normal girl. Well, almost. She gets average grades, has good friends, and is going to a great boarding school. But, there's always been something... different about her.
For one thing, she loved fairytales. She wasn't quite sure why, but the magic in them always interested her. Ever since she was little, strange things happened around y/n whenever she felt a very strong emotion. This always confused her, until she got the letter.
Both y/n and her parents were shocked when a tall and strict looking woman arrived on their doorstep dressed in emerald green robes. The woman then proceeded to tell them that y/n was actually a... witch?!
As y/n's years at Hogwarts fly by, she finds herself having feelings for her best friend, who just happens to be the boy who lived.
But as Voldemort returns and chaos ensues, will y/n get the happy ending she wishes for?
