Jasper is just a normal 14 year old girl. Or at least that's what she keeps telling herself. But if that's true, then how come she can't remember who she is? Her earliest memory is of running from these monsters, then jumping into a ravine. She wakes in the home of a college history professor and his wife, who teaches science at a local high school.
Things are going well, until bits of Jasper's memory start coming back. And as things get more dangerous for Jasper and her friends, she finds herself wondering the same thing, more and more.

They sick up for each other and do fun things together. He loves his dad and doesn't see the wrong in most things. One day Caleb tells Ella that Bradley and him are going on a trip with their dad and that she should go. She said yes, of course. Little did she know, what started out the shooting lessons in the middle of the woods would turn into their worst nightmare. Bradley has to reveal some secrets along with Ella and he has to start using his brotherly love and instinct to survive. What happens when Ella discover the biggest secret the boys have.
