It was the night before Christmas, but started off rather dull, as the devil hunter Dante had no sleep schedule. At five in the afternoon, he got ready for Christmas dinner. His ride drew closer so he had to be quicker. 

It was the night before Christmas for Kyrie and Nero, even though he was struggling to put clothes on their son Credo. Far too extravagant for a child of six, but there's nothing a little deal with his father can't fix. "You can open your present first, if you promise to wear them" and with a nod and a smile, Credo did as asked of him.

It was the night before Christmas, but that you already knew. The surprise is the new member of the DMC Crew. Quite young and still weak and well, he is still a baby, but you will hear more of him, in the near future maybe?All Rights Reserved

So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did. He moves back with Dante and Nero, and joins the Devil May Cry Business, all while raising Y/N.

He's considered cold due to his refusal of keeping people closer than an arm's length, but after a blue-haired man argues his way into his life, his arm's length shortens slowly as he unravels more about the man, including seeing a side of his that no one was ever meant to see. - A stereotypical romantic trope.
