He was just a teenager when he woke up in a strange room in a strange hospital. He had no true memory of who or what he was. Most believed that he was Hudson Graves Jr., the son of the famous Hudson Graves. Hudson Graves was the inventor of the Cogitatus, a machine that can guide you through your own memories and the memories of your ancestors. Some saw Hudson Graves as a great philanthropist, the modern innovator, a savior to humanity, a man full of love, giving, and kindness. Others saw him as heartless, ruthless, and too powerful.
He wasn't so sure himself of who people claimed him to be. The memories he did have made no sense. He had memories of Hudson Graves, memories of Hudson Graves Jr., and new memories of who he really felt himself to be.
What he didn't know was that he was part of a much greater secret. A dark secret that would send him on a journey, one full of pain, experiences, lies, peace, death, and love. Throughout the journey he meets many people, some who were affected by the private affairs of Hudson Graves, and others who help him develop a new life. In the end, he fights a war between someone he doesn't remember, and someone he could possibly become.
A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true?
Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her.
Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question?
One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out.
I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside?
Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to?
Read on as we see Freia and her friends struggle to find their places in the world they thought they knew of.
