I walked inside, hoping to see Nat but instead I saw a very familiar face that I was hoping I'd never see again. Sam Wilson. I stopped at once, my mouth wide open, looking him dead in the face. I could see that he was confused too.
"YOU!?" he asked arrogantly.
"My day just got a whole lot worse." I replied irritatedly.
That's when I heard someone rush to that room, Natasha Romanoff, finally she decides to show up to the party. I know I wasn't looking but even Captain America was confused, I could hear it in his voice when he asked, "You both know each other?"
I scoffed and slowly walked towards Wilson, "Oh, yes. I know him. Samuel Wilson. US Air Force pararescue. I see they cut off your wings."

In this alternate universe, Loki is sent to Midgard after the fight over the Aether. The Avengers question the Allfather's sanity, but agree they would rather have Loki where they can keep an eye on him. So, after some extensive remodeling, the Avengers Tower and neighboring facilities are now an extensive training ground with everything they'll need to reform the once proud Asgardian prince.
