After one too many failed relationships with human guys, Angel finally gives in to his sister's suggestion to order a personal android of his own to fill that role instead. Although Alastor is technically built to all Angel's specifications, his lack of agency and obedient nature make him feel more like a toy than a partner. So, in spite of the laws that prohibit it, Angel decides to loosen up some of his programming to give him more free will. But an unshackled AI is seen as dangerous for a reason, and if Alastor's devotion to Angel should override his concern for human safety, Angel might have a bit of a problem on his hands.
