Lilith Morel by all accounts is perfect. Perfect house, perfect family, perfect grades. She had quickly became the most hated person at school, yet everyone fails to see that she's suffering. Imperfect parents who fight at the drop of a dime, suffering from the consequences of being less than perfect to her parents. Her only outlet is piano. She would give anything to be seen.
Theon Briggs saw her, but once he did he was just like the rest. Having grown up on the line of poverty and lower middle class he too had many reasons to hate Lilith, to envy the perfect life she fronted. What happens when he begins to see through the cracks?

16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced.
