The Sorcerer's Prodigy

Almost a year after the events of Zhan Tiri finally falling at the hands of Corona; Violet, upon finally being reunited with her true family, is beyond ecstatic to take up the role of Princess, and eventually future queen of Algateria. But it soon becomes apparent that something is wrong, this whole princess facade just doesn't quite fit.

In fact not only is she not quite the right princess material, but she doesn't seem to be the right material for anything; and Tarqus, the once king of Algateria, asserts this quite clearly. And to make matters worse, after their last encounter, Varian seems to have cut off contact between the both of them for seemly no reason, making her feel even more isolated and alone.

However, when a rash decision on Violet's part makes the rocks suddenly reappear, this time in red; things really get serious, and fast; provoking an encounter from Zhan Tiri's long forgotten daughter, who desires to enact her revenge upon the ones she deems responsible for her mother's death and abandonment of her; causing Violet's whole belief of the illusion that her ancestor's intentions were pure to be completely thrown into question, as more skeletons of Zanira's past are revealed, and Zhan Tiri's so called 'villainous' actions are shown in a much different light.

Struggling to come to terms with her reoccurring feelings for Varian, as well as the ghosts of her old life coming back to haunt her, and even a family member she loved with all her heart completely turning against her for seemingly no reason; she has no choice but to throw herself into the crossfires of someone else's mistake and dive into the past of the fallen, in order to find out what she, and her powers, are truly meant for.......
