Despite the British's efforts, the Americans had nearly overran Canada, with them not thinking that this would be too hard for them, as they had left most of their troops in Europe, to deal with the French, but unluckily the Americans were prepared, having trained artillery, cavarly, and infantry. The naval battles mostly ended in stalemates. They had pushed out the British and occupied Quebec and Ontario, marching toward Edmonton.
