When Louis and Lilly's father dies, Louis expected him to leave them something, anything, that could be taken as a goodbye, especially since he was his father's favorite. But what they find is something more unexplainable, more unbelievable than they could have imagined.
A quest. A chance to achieve greatness, and not just for them. They must seek out a mysterious desert-dweller, a sickly slave, and an over-the-top teenage girl, to aid them on their journey. But people are not the only strange things they shall encounter. Imagine your world, with all its technologies, as a dark, oppressive place, filled with good, evil, and magic. That is the world in which they inhabit.
