Horizon is a half Sandwing and one fourth Icewing and Nightwing. Her mother was killed while she was in her egg, and her aunt is the Sandwing queen. She has three sisters and three brothers but, an unexpected kidnapping spirals her and her siblings in a nightmare and discover a terrible secret. She watches her sisters die in front of her and is holding on to the one she has left. Trouble in the night kingdom arises, and she comes home, only to find the kingdom in chaos. Also, a mysterious tribrid coming from the lost continent is asking for help. An unexpected side to scavengers, death, and adventure awaits for Horizon on her path to Queendom.
The Wings of Fire series does not belong to. me, but I made up all the characters except Listener, Clearsight's friend. (I made her write a scroll about scavengers which Horizon received for her birthday)

And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean.
