After wei ying's death lan zhan went to everywhere wherever is chaos just to search for wei ying. One day on his way back from yiling he found a 3 years old boy.

Feeling pity for the boy, moreover the boy smiles exactly like his wei ying, lan zhan couldn't leave him there alone. So he bring him back to cloud recess with him. After so many pleading of him and his brother lan xichen , their uncle Lan Qiren allowed him to keep the boy.

**The story before wei ying's death is same as the original novel. Only difference is Jing ling was 8 when his parents died and suzui is not Wen. He was born Lan. His parents died when he was little.( I just couldn't imagine a story without our lovely juniors so I somehow managed their age and added them 😁😁)**

This is an MDZS AU fanfic. 'The characters used above are from the novel Mo dao Zhu Shi' while the story and concept is entirely mine. Lan wangji of Gusu Lan Clan spent his life mostly inside cloud recess distancing himself from his family and friends. His mother and best friend passed away years ago and he was traumatized by 'some people '. Lan xichen, lan wangji's elder brother and his friends Nie Huai sang, Jij zixuan and Wen chao were worried and did all to make wangji come out of his shell. In another place as boy who was surrounded by darkness was crouching in a corner. He could here his sister's cries and please to that women to not hurt him again. He wanted to stop his sister well knowing 'she' will hurt his sister too. He knew he can never escape. He just want his sister to escape. He just want to know whether his A-yang and A-zhan is doing well. One day wangji got a dragon fly message like the butterfly message but in this the voice can be heard. He started talking with the messenger Xian and xian helped him out of his trauma. Wangji felt a deep connection with xian. Who is this xian and why is he not reveling his whereabouts.?Complete
Summary: Lan Xichen felt like there's lacking in his life. After both his sworn brothers died, he realized. He needed a partner, someone to spend the rest of his life with. He had always been with his sworn brothers, and so he didn't notice. Even if Jin Guangyao, the best candidate to be a partner, is there in front of him, yet he still didn't realize. After he lost his sworn brothers, he knew of the word 'loneliness'. However, when he finally noticed the person who had always been there but he never saw, he realized how blind he had been. He had taken for granted that person's presence. After that meeting with Jiang Cheng, Lan Xichen finally knew the word 'love'. The love that he always sees on his brother and Wei Wuxian, yet never really understood. This time, when he saw Jiang Cheng standing tall among the sea of people, he realized. His long asleep heart that always wanted to help people can't help but to beat for him. The man he always thought as a stranger, he never knew he wanted to be his partner now. However, as he had said, they are strangers to each other. Even now that they are brothers-in-law because of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian's marriage, they didn't have something common between them.
