The 136th Hunger Games
When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Not to mention, the thought of killing somebody twists her stomach into all sorts of unnatural shapes. Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. However, as she navigates through the opulent world of the Capitol, and then the arena itself, Kira starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the dead she should pity, but the Victor. After all, no one ever really wins the Hunger Games. Survives, sure. But wins? Never. ~~+~~ Please Note: This is set in a world where the 2nd Rebellion failed. All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the rights to the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, or to the Lionsgate adaptation of her books. (Obviously.) This is an AU about Evil Leafy corrupting everyone in her way. Some of the contestants will survive. Some won't. The theory about Golf Ball creating Evil Leafy would be headcanon by me. Everything would be mostly in chaos. I will make Flower one of the main characters who survived. BFB and BFDI: TPOT would be mostly together in this AU. The survivors wouldn't argue or anything. Details about the Evil Leafy's Return (ELR - shortened): Everyone except the survivors would be infected and go insane. They become bloodthirsty and violent. They would try to kill or infect the survivors. The hosts of the show included the main characters, which were, of course, the main characters. My standards would mostly pick them, but I can change that after the events of BFB and the first TPOT, the Death. P.A.C.T.ers would be mostly the most significant group who survived and saved some other contestants. Most of the contestants would be fully infected or half-infected. The contestants would also be injured by a fork or other sharp and dangerous objects and be bandaged. The story surrounds Flower, so she is the protagonist, Lollipop being the deuteragonist and Taco the tritagonist.
