Meet the Walters

John Walters raises his family of five on his own since his wife left. He has three sons and a daughter. Sam Walters, Payton Walters, Hayden Walters, and Eddie Walters.

You're probably wondering which one is the girl, right?

Hayden Walters is 17 years old. She has played sports and been a tomboy, as well as a bad ass, practically all her life. Her entire family is sports crazy, Hayden is obsessed with softball.

All the boys play a sport and they play pretty damn well looking for their scholarships in the sports they specialize in.

Hayden is a softball catcher who is well known in her town. However when the family moves from Michigan to Kentucky, the standards change as well as teams. The school their dad enrolls them too does not have a softball team. However the coach makes an exception for "her" to tryout so close to the start of the season because of her amazing stats and records.

When she shows up to practice though, the only question the team asks is: He's a girl?

Alison doesn't like hockey. It isn't so much the sport itself that she doesn't like, but rather the people who play it. Growing up the daughter of a local hockey legend with a superstar brother who follows in their father's footsteps, hockey players are all she has ever been around. After a bad break-up with her brother's ex-teammate, she swore off all hockey players for life. She is sick of hockey, sick of the players, and sick of Maukingnen Falls, but she can't seem to get away from any of it. Using her dad's connections in her career doesn't exactly help the situation, but she's determined to make a name for herself outside of the hockey world. If that means name dropping her famous family to get a few meetings so she can finally move out of her hometown and leave her reputation behind her, then she'll buckle up and deal with it. That is until she takes too much of an advantage dropping her last name and somehow ends up in the showers of her hometown's hockey team. Who catches her there? None other than the team's captain. Dylan Cavanaugh doesn't like his private life on display, but being the biggest player in hockey at his young age makes it hard to keep his private life private. Things blow up when his breakup with his Hollywood actress ex-girlfriend quite literally take over the town and he can't seem to escape the attention of every reporter and single woman he sees. When he finds out the real reason the woman he caught in the showers hates hockey, he makes a proposition that could benefit both of them. Now he's in a fake relationship to avoid having to continuously deny a real one because the girl he chose would never date another hockey player. The plan is flawless: fake a relationship to break away from her family name and save him from unwanted attention. This plan could get her out of Maukingnen Falls. It could get her family to respect her again. And it could get her toxic ex-boyfriend to finally leave her alone. What could possibly go wrong?

Emery Ashford had a smart mouth. She was known for it. As an outgoing teenager Emery was always hanging out with friends and with a lack of filter she always said what was on her mind. Especially if it had to do with that irritative jock. She hated him with every fiber in her body. She hated his charming nature, his arrogance, his lack of care, and the way he got on her nerves. But the thing she hated most, although she'd never admit it, is that she would stick up for him. Not like he ever needed it. She wanted nothing more than to get away from him. But it's completely impossible. He lived right across the street. Everything about senior year had been going smoothly until, Bang. Jackson Riley had a pretty mouth. Pretty face too. As the school's football captain he's always been the talk. For years he's been entertained by the smartass that is Emery Ashford. She was a pain in his ass, but he knew he'd be bored without her. When he ends up giving Emery another concussion, he's determined to make the last two months of her senior year hell. That's if he hasn't been doing that already. There's only one thing in his way. Concussion or not Emery isn't going down without a fight. It seems the more she doesn't want him around, the more he happens to be. She thinks her life is spiraling into the ground...but maybe she has it all wrong. With an offer she can't refuse and a heat of the moment bet, it's time for the both of them to realize that there's a thin line between love and hate.
