She did it. Melony was able to find a way to save him. She thought she and him would get the happy ending they've deserved since the incident. But what if that supposed ending gets twisted into something much darker? Much deeper?

{ A couple notes:
1. This is au I made was originally based on simple observations and assumptions I did while watching WOTFI 2021, but then got expanded into a story with plot and action. 
2. There will be mention of suicide but that's about it as far as triggering topics go. This may update as I continue to write this story. 
3. There will be some blood and gore mentioned in some bits of this story.

So much hesitation on her face, the sight of it fucking killed him. But, she reached out a shaky hand, slipping it into his. ~ Harmony finds her trusting nature doesn't always do her good, and the biggest mistake she ever made was walking home with a man who insisted they were taking a shortcut. She wakes up, cold, tired and terrified, chained to a wall in a stranger's basement. Unbeknownst to her, she's now in the hands of someone else so much worse. She finds herself determined to escape his grip in any way possible, even if it means doing what he wants and pretending to like it. And as more time goes on, Max seems to be further taken by her, doing everything to try and mend bridges to get her to stay. But, she can't become complacent; that's how people die. She's found herself deep into the underbelly of life others don't know, where laws are not the same, where people are not the same. Surrounded by a pack of gun runners, thieves and murderers, she starts to question if she could ever go back to her old life. When does the puppetry start being the truth? ~ Not everything is always green and blue.
