Sixteen lucky subjects were chosen for a secret government experiment, all kidnapped and injected with an untested substance. None of them knew what would happen to them, and panicked as they were forced back into their normal lives and ordered not to tell a soul.

The government realised their mistake and needed the sixteen to remain under watch in a specific testing base on Mars. Creating mass hysteria, a broadcast was sent to the entire region of Japan that these sixteen people are to be hunted down and captured alive. Without any escape from the country, the sixteen have to live out their lives being constantly hunted.

There's no way it's possible to survive this, right?

The other boy is insecure, intelligent, fearful, silent and mysterious. And him instead, Shuichi Saihara, The Ultimate Detective, is the one where everyone trusts and who thinks it will be their salvation to come out. But what could happen if one of the two notices the attraction towards the other? Would that be something strange? Unusual?
