RUTVI : When Love Met Obsession
Rutvi, a 18 year-old city girl-charming, carefree, and adorably clumsy-visits her ancestral village with her family.
Everything there feels like stepping into another era... slower, raw, and strangely beautiful.
And for the first time, she feels free.
Running through fields, laughing with her cousins, living without rules...
She starts falling in love with a life she never knew.
But someone else notices her.
Ishvik Pratap Singh.
Quiet. Intense. Watching.
Not just looking... observing. Studying. Claiming-without saying a word.
One afternoon, while Rutvi is playing outside, Ishvik arrives at her house with his father and brother.
A formal proposal.
But not the kind that asks.
His father places the demand bluntly-
"We want your daughter's hand."
Rutvi's father refuses immediately.
"She's too young. This won't happen."
Voices rise. The air turns heavy.
But Ishvik's father doesn't back down.
"Shaadi toh hogi... chahe aaj ho ya kal"
And then-
Rutvi walks in.
Carefree, unaware... still smiling from moments ago.
But the second Ishvik sees her properly... everything stills.
His gaze doesn't move.
Not curiosity.
Not admiration.
Something deeper. Something dangerous.
Like he's already decided-
she's his
Without a word, he stands up... walks straight to her.
The room falls silent.
He takes out a chocolate, places it in her hand, and says softly-
"Bahut jaldi milenge."
(Not a hope... a promise.)
Then he turns, walks out, and sits in the Thar with his family...
Leaving behind silence... and something far more unsettling than rejection.
