Jordan has just returned from her second tour of duty and is welcomed home by her lovely fiancee, Nicole. Romance rekindles the moment the two women set eyes on each other; for a time, it's as if they never spent a minute apart, though it's been several years since they've had more than a video chat to hold them over. And the lovers take Jordan's break as an opportunity to start planning their fairy-tale wedding. However, it doesn't take but a few weeks for Jordan's experiences abroad to start hindering their efforts. Gradually, she becomes listless and quiet. Sometimes she's even distant an angry without provocation. Finding adjusting to civilian life more challenging than she thought, she turns to drugs and alcohol to cope. But the drugs and alcohol do more than just help, they change her, making her into someone she never would have thought she'd become. A monster.

Nicole and Jordan's love is strong, but is it strong enough to fight back against the demons they are about to face?
