Young 15 years old Lucas is a boy in a joyful and peaceful world. He came to that world with his so called siblings ever since he was a small little boy. The old world was destroyed by those who sought to rule it for themselves. But as he grows older he has dreams about how he either must save the world he loves for the people he loves or sacrifice those he loves for his own happiness. What will he choose a life full of regret and loneliness or a sacrifice knowing his loved ones will be safe from the growing darkness coming to his world.

Lucas is a boy trapped in his own thoughts, trapped in a world of loneliness. His ADHD makes it hard to concentrate, and his creative mind offers him only a temporary escape. At school, he is the target of bullies. At home, no one seems to really see him. Even his psychologist-who is paid to help-doesn't seem to understand the depth of his pain. But there is more to Lucas than anyone suspects. What begins as small acts of rebellion-lying, stealing-slowly evolves into something much darker. His anger and loneliness take on increasingly grotesque forms. He has no way out, except the destructive power he discovers within himself. Each time he strikes, he leaves a message behind: "Alone." A word the world doesn't understand until it's too late. As the line between art and horror blurs, Lucas loses his grip on reality. His masterpieces become violent, gruesome, and irreversible. Eventually, there is only one way left. But can he escape the echo of his own despair, or will loneliness swallow him up forever?
