After 5 years in London, Wren reluctantly moves back to her home town in Michigan for her senior year, and she's not ready to be back. Memories resurface, leaving her with feelings and thoughts she never wanted to revisit again. Especially feelings towards her childhood neighbor and best friend, Elias.

Wren never thought she'd ever have to see him again, and now that she's home, she's going to avoid him at all costs. Or at least try to. But Elias has changed since she left, fighting his own battles, and he's going to have to prove to her that they can fix what was broken, no matter how much it takes.

With Wren's mental health declining for the second time, and unwanted feelings towards Elias returning, she has to figure out that she's not alone, and that the one person she never thought she could confide in anymore, may be the one who loves her most.
