Every year on a cold winters night, the lanterns are hung up on the tree, wishes are made, and warmth is spread. But how did this tradition start?





I know its a short synopsis, but I had a hard time coming up with a title(I don't think this one is good enough) and couldn't think of much for a synopsis. I decided to write the story to get in the "Winter in the "Kingdom" event because I love it, and more people can get to see it. The cover is obviously not mine, it belongs to Devsisters. I'm also trying to do this quick thing so that my acc doesn't die lol(each paragraph is a cut in the clip). Hope you enjoy!(I'll update as much as possible as soon as possible).All Rights Reserved

Deep in the forest lies a Sakura tree. Inside the Sakura tree lies a spirit. Inside the spirit lies a desire, a malicious desire for freedom and dominance. All it takes is a simple lie to make one cry. All it takes is one cry to be free for life. Note: This story is inspired by a game on Roblox called The Mimic. All the chapters are theorised lore and are ideas that I came up with. Take note that the chapters do not follow the chronological timeline of the characters' birth! I'm usually very busy because of school so the parts will not come immediately. Note that I am still quite young so I'm not very professional at writing and for some parts, I tend to get a little lazier and I also run out of ideas quickly. "Come on mom and dad!" The ten year old says as she pulls her mother and father further into the forest. "Honey, it will be here all season, no need to rush." Her mother spoke. "Yes, you must learn to be patient Aury." Her father states. The little brunette starts to slow down. She now walks a normal pace between her parents. "I'm sorry mom and dad, I'm just excited. Its been a whole year." The girl explains, Her mom snickers. "We understand sweetie, but it just finished turning anyway. Its only the 3rd of October." Her father also explains. "Otherwise known as my birthday!" She exclaims. Her mother and father giggle. "Look, there it is!" Her mother points to a big Sugar Maple Tree with leaves colored with vibrant yellow, burnt orange and strawberry red. The girl's hazel eyes fill with excitement, she jumps up and down and runs to the big tree. "It's as pretty as ever!" The little girl says happily. The child hugs the tree while her parents smile. They walk up to her and kneel down to her height. "I know we've been coming to this tree for 4 years now Aury, but you know if you ever feel sad especially during the fall, you can always hang out under this tree." Her mother says, the little girl smiles. ♡♡♡ Aurelia Jones and her parents go to that tree every fall for her birthday since she was six. That very tree is only one of the many reasons she loves fall. She doesn't have many friends so she doesn't care about birthday parties. Her mom and dad always adored her imagination, when they told her about Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and everyone else, she believed it immediately, always had and probably always will. *Another Jack Frost x reader! So basically my friend (Stage) and I had this crazy idea that if our characters/us (it's hard to explain) were from Treegap New Hampshire so since Stage is writing about us two being Newsies I'm writing this one. (Finished!) Anyways here's the plot (Grammar is also junky) This is a nightmare sans X Fem! Reader Just to clarify, I drew '(Y/n)' in the way I imagined her to sorta look like. She does not actually look like that it's just me. You're a girl (just roll with it) who is 22 years old and you have earthly powers, (more will be explained about the powers) Your father wanted a boy instead of you and he left your mother when you were born. Chasing after another woman your father was no where in sight. Your mom found out later that he was murdered by his new wife for his money and there your mother was left a widow to care for her only daughter. At 10 she died and instead of going to an orphanage, you took care and lived in your mothers small cabin deep in the forest with a small garden of course. You always heard of the guardians who guarded the tree of feelings and for the townspeople they always spoke harshly about the one they call Nightmare. Rather Dream, he was worshipped and praised for protecting good and positive feelings. And Nightmare protected the negative ones which of course they did not want. You on the other hand saw that without sadness and loss the world would be out of balance. So you always thought of Nightmare as misunderstood. And owning a small flower shop in the town you made two baskets full of sweets, flowers, and bread, thinking of how it would be a nice thank you gift for the two guardians who protected their respectable feelings. But what you didn't know was with that simple gesture of kindness, a certain skeleton became very interested in you. This book will have you wear dresses and nightmare will of course wear clothing suitable close to the Middle Ages, so basically it's kinda like back then. There are most likely going to be errors in the grammar so please excuse them (Artwork by me) I hope you enjoy this! (Also please keep in mind that I will most likely draw the outfits + maybe some parts of the book)

This story was less of a 'do it as good as you can' kind of story and more of a story I wrote so I could have something that was finished, as I've struggled in finishing stories in the past, so if there's some error, sorry! Also, some parts of the story may raise questions that are never answered, such as "who is Lady Dusk?" because this story is also connected to an ongoing roleplay and was written for the members OF that roleplay.
