Reader meets Ivar at the gym and the attraction is instant. Years and many beautiful pictures later, their hearts are broken and Ivar is sleeping alone. So how did they get here? Ivar is a modern take on Vikings!Ivar, with Alex's photography obsession tossed in for good measure. I asked myself what Ivar might have been like in a modern setting with treatment for his disability (I'm taking a stab with spina bifida because it's something I can write with a little bit of experience, not because it's documented that he had it), and this character is what happened. The crippled sons of Ragnar Lothbrok Ivar the Boneless and Feyre the girl with amber eyes that shine like the goddess Freyja, youngest daughter of Shield-Maiden Lagertha. Some say it was fated by the Gods. Others claim that this was the Gods writing the past into the future. Disclaimer: I do own the character of Ivar the Boneless nor any of the other characters from the show Vikings. I just own my original character of Feyre. This will be a mature story with some heavy themes and there will be massive changes to the storyline because like my other story this is based off my Vikings DR (Desired Reality)

Lir has been preparing her warriors since her return for a possible attack while dealing with a constant dream she has been having since her return. Since her return, she now must rely on her second in command Oluf to find any weaknesses the heathens may have, but to her disbelief Oluf is now the second in command of a heathen.
