Superhumans exist in this world in less than 1% of the global population, either from genetic experimentation, years of intensive and gruesome training or via paranormal means. Society has somewhat adapted to this natural change. These guys are there to perform extraordinary feats to either help humanity or to cause death and/or destruction. 

Then there are these so-called Gods which has a chance of appearing of 1 in a trillion generations. Whoever these guys are, they're considered to be omnipotent, and no one knows who or what they are. 

One such individual might be considered a god. And you may never guess it to be a normal high-schooler who is being subjected to abuse due to her outstanding beauty. She was almost in a brink of death from her detestable existence until a flash of light blasted her and she was blessed with omnipotence and power. This incident might change her life in a flash. 


Note: This is my original story that is inspired by the Manga and Anime series, One Punch Man. Majority of the logic and events is purely fiction with some ties to real-life logic which is intended to make the story intriguing.Toate drepturile rezervate

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Imagine a world in the future where women can acquire superpowers simply by taking a hormone. Imagine that this hormone doesn't work on men. Now, introduce into that world a very attractive and somewhat bipolar 18-year-old boy. Add to the mix a lot of silliness, androids, action, explicit sex, teen drama and you have an idea whether you're going to like the story or not. The year is 2167. Three generations ago a hormone was discovered that was capable of giving some of humanity great powers. For some reason the hormone only had an effect on women. The hormone is known by the name of Isis. Humanity has been divided into two groups: the women who have taken the hormone and the rest. Orazio is a young, attractive man who has just become an adult and has found out the hard way that it is not easy to be a man in a world full of super-powerful women.

As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Marley, now forced to deal with a moody roommate and an extremely inconvenient abnormality, feels as though the world is just generally out to get him. His life is only complicated further when it becomes apparent that not only is Nero his only way out of the place, but he also has a tendency to make Marley question everything he's ever known. Marley is positive of one thing, though, and that is the fact that he needs to do anything possible to ensure his kingship- It's the only way to finally correct the world that his predecessors have wronged so cruelly. The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them. Years past, now in modern-day, a boy hurt and scared because of the hunt for the card wielders, blames the gods and so the Devil bestowed upon him their card.
