Kenji Futakuchi is an underrated character and needs to be recognized. The complexity of childhood friendship is, well, complex. After years of being apart, you never know where you stand with a person. You can learn things about a person all your life but never really understand where they are going or how they really feel. If friendship means being this close to the person you care about, maybe, just maybe, we can tolerate our differences. **Disclaimer** NOT ALL the characters are mine!!! All rights are from Haikyuu, and a few are made up. The story, however, is mine. Given the context of the characters, the setting has changed to meet what I understand from a school setting. Let your imagination flow! Accuracy is definitely flexible depending on experience.

Extreme social anxiety has made your school life rather boring... simply trying to say hello to a classmate has proved next to impossible. no matter how badly you wanted to talk, the words stopped before they could leave your mouth. A curious classmate, akaashi keiji, had taken notice of your difficulties speaking. so naturally, he took action, in the form of a note... 'Do you have trouble speaking? Iv never heard you talk, even when it would make things much easier on you...' can love begin to bloom, even when words have hardly been exchanged?
