Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Cosmo had never actually died? What if Metal Sonic had appeared? What if Silver, Blaze, Omega, and other characters were included in the story of Sonic X? Did you watch that anime as a kid and wish there were more episodes? Fear no more because I am here to answer your call! In this revised and extended story I will retell the events of Sonic X in a slightly different manner as well as extend the story beyond where it ended in a much more interesting way. Before we start: Sonic is one of my favorite characters. Sonic games, official or even fan created series were and still are one of the reasons that I will open my TV or Computer. When I was watching them in my childhood, I start thinking about what will happen if I combine some of the stories and make one of my own. A Sonic X AU based on two fanfics, the Sonic Movie fanfic "Just Took a Bit Longer to Find My Way Home" and the Sonic X one "Letting Go of Hope" The movie characters are in this fic. As in Tom, Maddie, Wade, Randall, Rachal and Jojo. It's still like the same timeline as the episodes, but Sonic, at some point, decides to stay with Tom and Maddie, given the parent-child bond. After Sonic and his friends got separated, the blue hedgehog finds himself in a warehouse and was tortured there for 6 months (like in Forces). After he finally escaped, he passed out in an area of a garage, where two humans took him in, after he woke up and explained everything. A special bound between him and the couple blooms when he decides to stay here, slowly recovering. But when discovering that he wasn't the only one on Earth, he starts searching for his friends with the help of his current ones. Join Sonic and his friends, new and old, as they start looking for the Chaos Emeralds and stop Dr Eggman. WARNING: Blood, Gore, Death (for poor Cosmo since she died in the final season), violence and strong language are in this story.
