The world is not always as beautiful and forgiving as one would imagine, and Korra Grey, a young florist, who is abducted by a creature of the children's books, finds herself in another world quickly learning that life can be even crueler than she thought.
After more than a year of pain and suffering in the madman's cellar, she gets what she sought the most, freedom. Though changed by cruelty she suffered. Either she learns to live with the mutations or finds a way to reverse them while she struggles to find her own place in a world utterly unknown to her, hunted not only by the nightmares of her past.

Transported to another world (isekai), somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but not too much. There are litRPG elements there, but numbers are not what this story is about. You could say it's Slice of Life. Even so, you can expect fights, monsters, beasts, and enemies from the ranks of humans, but not OP MC - she will have to get there.

Alma was tired of her life. She was middle aged, fat with so many problems. She married her husband young and love bloomed. He was her one and only and she still loved him after spending 25 years with him. Alma longed to change her life, get fit, eat well and spend more time enjoying life with her husband. She battles with anxiety and depression, she is herself worst enemy. One day she decides to go out for a walk, something she has not done in years, she is feeling proud of herself but she did not prepare well enough, there was icing on the path and she slipped and fell hard, when Alma finally wakes up she is not home, she in a forest and it's hot. What is going on, where is she? Alma is very kind but she is a people pleaser, she has very low self esteem, deep depression and bad anxiety. she loves animals and can't bear to hurt an animal. This is her journey on making her a stronger but most of all journey to learn to love and heal herself.
