We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? Time is ticking as they try to find their way out before they end up lying in a puddle of their own blood.

A small grade 11 outdoor education class goes hiking up a mountain with their teacher. Three days up, three days down, how hard could it be? Well, they'll soon find out. When the students unmask a mysterious crypt near the top of the mountain their lives will never be the same again...that is if they're still living.

These are just some short stories I wrote for fun. Enjoy.

When the door finally slams open, and a dark figure steps forward, their worst fears come true. They were never alone. And now, there's no way out.

A short horror story. Two boys search a used book story looking for a good, scary read, only to find greater horrors than they ever wanted.

"It was supposed to be a fun week away at this luxury manor, but turns out to be a death trap for me and my friends.
