Three views, one tale.
Voon-Sae was a desert city built by a theocracy, ruled over by the five Priests of the Sand. To some, they were benevolent and loving rulers. To others, they were liars and murderers, only seeking personal power. Those who saw them as such rose up, and brought them down, following the Martyr Merlo and his wife. But was he a hero, or a barbarian? Depends on who you ask.
