The mutants, although shrouded in total mystery, had chosen to disassociate themselves from the unruly grip of Doctor Zomboss. After a conscious decision by the former to declare their opposition after years of indefinite mistreatment, the mad zombie doctor brought upon harsh action that tore their community apart, and he made sure that it will be never be again.

That though, someone, namely a peashooter, learned about this gruesome piece of history. Inspired, he dared himself on an adventure to rebuild that lost connection to shine light upon what made them one once. It is an incredibly deadly endeavor, and by proceeding so, he is painting a large target on his back, but he did not look behind.
