To pay for the crime of murdering Baldr, Loki Laufeyjarson and his family is banished to the realm of Midgard. After centuries of searching, he finally happens across one of his children. They begin wandering to search for the rest of their family. And to protect their best interests from nosey mortals, prone to witch hunts and endless lists of favors with no plans of giving anything in return. But Loki's powers are dampened and beginning to wane. He can't keep the mortals at bay forever.
Loki takes his son to a sleepy town in New York, and assumes a new identity so they can settle before figuring out his next step. In the meantime, Loki returns to his day job as author and occasional store owner, publishing Ebooks under the pseudonym Silvertongue. But what does he do when an enamored fan manages to track him down?
Maybe he'll just have some fun.
